stayed at Nicks house while working at Bolton , very comfortable, very homley also the the town has a fair bit to offer highly recommend, great price would stay again thank you.
A great place to stay. Lots of local amenities in the area and some great parks. The beds are so comfy, which is important when staying away from home, so you wake up refreshed everyday. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans etc so it’s just like home! There is a bus stop just out the front which will take you into Manchester centre to explore all it has to offer. I was in the area for work so having the family with me was important, but also having an area to explore for them was important too. If the need arise to stay in the area again, we will look here first! Thanks Nick!
We needed emergency accommodation and this was everything and more for what we needed me and my children felt safe, it’s quite private and we have never slept better. We have told all our friends from London to use this accommodation when visiting Manchester it’s perfect
This place has great potential. Nick was a responsive host and instructions for check in and check out were clear and straightforward. The apartment is spacious and quirky - it's quite photogenic. However, I think it could do with a bit of maintenance and TLC. The kitchen is very well stocked but quite disorganised, and as a previous guest mentioned everything in it could do with a good scrub. The bathrooms need both functional and aesthetic maintenance - including the shower which leaked around the sides of the shower doors. The main bedroom is in the cellar with a low ceiling and concrete floor - we would recommend bringing slippers or flip flops! Overall though, not bad for a short stay at a reasonable price. With a bit of maintenance as mentioned, I would recommend.
I have mixed feelings about this place... the overall space, the cosy area around the fire, the parking... all great, and overall, for the price, it served its purpose. The downsides: the downstairs bedroom has no carpet, leaks water and generally feels unfinished. A nice space with the en-suite, but cold and damp feeling made it unusable for me. I slept in the upstairs bedroom, which was about as basic and unwelcoming as can be. The cups and crockery need updating, everything felt like it needed to be washed prior to use. Upstairs shower temperature was temperamental, and couldn't have a shower downstairs unless you held the attachment above you throughout, so a decent shower (a minimum requirement in my opinion), was not possible. For me, the little things go a long way... I didn't feel welcome here, there was nothing extra or outstanding... it was just OK.
