My children and I had a lovely short break at Plas Menai - lots of time exploring the beach and surrounding area as well as some paddle boarding and kayaking. The accommodation was perfect for this type of holiday and we would definitely visit again.

We stayed at House 7 in Plas Menai and the experience was below my expectations. The House 7 seemed like a newly renovated House which is added to the property. There is a main complex which had rooms and other facilities. Our house was advertised as having a kitchen and my expectation was to have a proper working kitchen. But the kitchen had a very weird and small counter top oven and the stove plates were on top of it. We tried to heat a couple of (store bought) pizzas once and oven was not able to cook them properly. We were provided with only one pot and one pan and the pot was like a huge one which they must have got from their restaurant. The kitchen did not have a proper trash bin and after complaining twice I had to go myself and bring it over from their reception. The heating never worked during our stay. We complained twice and they tried to fix but it still didn't work. Overall, it was a shame because the property seemed to have a lot of potential.
