Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, the two-storey property, set on the owner’s farmland, is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking rural tranquillity but also easy access to a host of natural landscapes and renowned villages and towns dotted between the fells and lakes. As well as stunning countryside and fell views from its spacious ground-floor living area, the cottage enjoys a large outdoor area and various modern conveniences. The cottage boasts a contemporary feel, with quirky soft furnishings scattered about bright and welcoming rooms throughout. Prepare for plenty of large gatherings throughout the day in the fabulous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a vast space flooded with natural light, complete with a long breakfast bar, hidden pantry, bay window seating area and secondary lounge, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle, with easy access to the enclosed garden via large patio doors. Four spacious bedrooms - a twin bedroom and three king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room - surround a family bathroom. The undulating lawn in the spacious enclosed garden, which is surrounded by rolling countryside, is a great place for younger guests to let off a lot of steam. Read or catch the sun on the patio area in the day before moving to the decked area for pre-dinner drinks or nightcaps, even when everyone else is admitting it’s time for bed.
