This was the perfect family-friendly spot. The host thoughtfully provided a lovely welcome hamper full of treats which was a good gesture. There were also plenty of games and leaflet information to help navigate the area, making the stay even more memorable." Impressed by how clean and tidy and the attention to detail! The host stocked the kitchen with essentials, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable." The pet-friendly policy was a blessing. We loved our stay in Beccles. Rachel was so helpful beforehand, providing a travel cot and high chair to reduce our packing. Beautifully furnished and good quality bed linens, a good night sleep all round. We really enjoyed the cosy fire on a chilly weekend. Walkable for all the bars, restaurants and shops but a peaceful street.

We had a delightful stay in Rachel's hideout in Beccles. We were there to see family, but the town, and the region, is full of great things to do and the house is perfectly situated to access all Beccles has to offer on foot. Rachel has thought of every detail to make your stay easy and comfortable. We came from Switzerland and were short of UK adapters, but this turned out to be no problem as there are phone chargers next to the bed. We arrived to a very generous hamper and a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. This enabled us to enjoy toasted hot cross buns and a cup of tea in bed, before even venturing out to Tesco's (a short walk around the corner). The beds were very comfortable and the area quiet, so restful. Rachel had thoughtfully left Alexa with a reminder message to put the parking permit in the car. Be warned that the parking is controlled from 8am to 8pm even on weekends and public holidays. We loved our stay in the Hideout. Thanks Rachel for sharing your beautiful house.

The picturesque River Waveney is just a short stroll away, where you can enjoy riverside walks or hire a boat for a leisurely cruise. Ideally situated for exploring the stunning Norfolk Broads and the Suffolk coastline, both of which are within easy reach.
On-street parking is available, there is always a space outside the property. We provide paid-for daily parking permits for one car per stay. We also have Alexa set up daily to remind you!
