On arrival it was very difficult to access the property. The key would not open the door, this took a few attempts until we finally managed to access. Bedroom on ground floor would have benefited from having a single bed rather than a double, very tight for two people. The downstairs bathroom was extremely tired and with black grout present, although shower good, very powerful. The garden was completely overgrown, giving a very uncared for feel, fence panels were down, hence we could not let the dog out in the morning and evening, very inconvenient. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. Table only accommodated four people, although the property slept eight! There were no teaspoons and no plug in the sink for washing up purposes. The large en-suite on the top floor was in very good order. The other en-suite however, had a shower door that could not be moved and a basin that had turned grey with age! Pillows, very uncomfortable and all bedding tired.
The house is spacious and easily accommodated our group of 7. It was tricky to enter and we had trouble opening the key box. However Maeve was on hand to help via message. The house is very close to the station so a great option if you are planning to visit London. There is a grocery store and pub (good food and good prices) about 15 mins walk. We definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.
The place was perfect for our family of seven,just a 12 minntaxi from Heathrow,and a 3 min walk to the station,making central London easily accessible . It was warm,clean and ideal for the wet weather . Thanks to Maeve and Fernando for their help during our stay.
