Anchored on 8th is a beach cottage that has been completely restored. With 4 BD | 2 BR layout in the main house, there is also a separate apartment with it’s own exterior entrance. The open floor plan contains a spacious kitchen with all of your basic cooking needs, a living area with plenty of seating and a smart TV, and a dining table equipped for 6. The apartment sleeps 4 (king bed, 2 twin beds), has its own full bath, Kitchenette and sitting area with a TV. Every bedroom is equipped with its own TV. The exterior has 3 porches: the front porch has a ceiling fan with a bench and rocking chairs, the side porch has a grill with a pub table and bar stools and the apartment has its own landing with a sitting area. All perfect spots to enjoy a cup of coffee and smell the salt air. Lastly the side yard is equipped with a gas fire pit, adirondack chairs and string lights.

We really enjoyed the property. It was close to everything, spotless, and had great amenities. Jana was kind and responsive and reached out during the trip to make sure everything met our expectations and to see if we needed anything. We loved it, it fit our group of 11 really well. However, the water in the fridge came out super slow, the ice machine was not producing ice at all fast enough rate, we were out of ice after sleeping for 8 hours. The Wi-Fi also was not working super well for anyone
Having the separate apartment was a bonus. The guests all felt comfortable with the accommodations.

We did a mother daughter weekend. The place slept 14 people very comfortably. The loft space is separate from the main house and includes a king bed and 2 twins in an alcove. The loft has a mini kitchen, couch, large tv and full bath. The main house has 4 BR and 2 BR. The living area is open but cozy. Has lots of outdoor porches and seating plus gas fire pit which was great. Everyone slept well. The beds were really comfortable. The place is in the back of a small school and beside a church but that shouldn’t be an issue. The church’s prayer garden is actually next to the house. Backyard feels private. The place is nicely equipped for families. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The owner was easy to communicate with and the instructions were easy to follow. The special treat when we arrived was also nice.

The house is in the perfect location in the middle of town. Close enough to walk to the beach and park or drive a golf cart to all the local spots. This bright beach cottage is situated right off Butler Avenue. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach, marsh or park. This location is all about convenience and ease of travel. Regardless of where you need to get to on the Island, you’re only a brief walk or cart ride away.
