Welcome to Pine Time! This spacious 4B/2.5BA home has recently been renovated and is ready to welcome you to the Switzerland of America! Relax amongst the pines, sip coffee on the decks, and enjoy quick access to the local hot springs pool, restaurants, hiking trails, and more. The cabin sits a mere 1.7 miles from the heart of Ouray, offering both proximity to the town's amenities and a tranquil escape. Nestled amid majestic pine trees, it grants seclusion and a serene atmosphere. You can relish the great outdoors from the front deck, rear deck, or the private balcony deck adjoining the primary room. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, TV, a vanity & sink, and exclusive access to a private upper balcony deck through wall-to-wall sliding glass doors. Wake up looking straight out into the stunning wilderness. The "bunk room" is spacious and has two queen beds and a set of twin bunk beds. This room also has amazing 10 ft windows to gaze out into the pines from. The loft bedroom features tons of natural light from 10 ft windows and a king size bed, a cozy leather lounging chair, and beautiful views. Please note that this room is on the top level, and is accessed by a spiral staircase. The lower level bedroom features a plush queen bed and is on the walk-out basement level. This is the only bedroom that does not require stairs to get to. There is a full bathroom on the walk-out basement level, a full bathroom on the upper level near the primary and bunk rooms, and there is a half bath on the main level. Brand new granite vanities have been installed in this bathroom and the primary bedroom. The kitchen is fully equip with everything you may need, and features a brand new high end 36' ZLine oven/range. High end cutlery, professional grade pots and pans, and plenty of bakeware and chef's tools make the kitchen highly functional. Sliding glass doors walk out to the back deck from the dining/kitchen area. The living room features a 55" TV, a cozy pellet stove, amazing window seats, and a cabinet full of toys and games. This space is the heart of the home. There is a small bonus living area on the walk-out basement level complete with a wet bar, beverage refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, couch and TV. The property is ideally located for those seeking peace and quiet but do not want to be far from town. Easily drive in for dinner and a soak at the hot springs, and then retreat to the serene peace that The Woods provides. PERMIT #STR2023-007

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and was very accommodating for our family of 12. From the large amount of kitchen supplies to the amount of towels provided. We especially enjoyed the arcade games. And of course plenty of beds for everyone. Our host was quick to answer messages and help in any way needed. I would highly recommend this home.
This was a great start for our group. Private and plenty of space for a large group of people with comfortable beds. Plenty of amenities. Not too far from town and surrounded by large trees.
I booked this stay for 9 people, with plans to climb in the Ice Park. First, it is rare to find a place that "sleeps 12" that actually has beds for that many guests, rather than futons in the closet. Niki actually advertises the rooms accurately (so appreciated!) Whispering Pines has real (and comfy) beds to sleep up to 12 folks in four large rooms, ample living space, a great kitchen and a super cozy living room with a pellet stove. Everything is meticulously thought out to make for a great stay, from tons of cozy throw blankets and games for the living room, to labels on the light switches and kitchen drawers, to towels for the hot springs. It's a total dream of a house, and Niki is friendly and responsive! We will definitely be back for our next Ouray trip!
I would strongly recommend this property if your are looking for a place to stay in Ouray. We were so lucky to be their first guests because the hosts really treated us super special. At first we were hesitant to book since there were no reviews yet but when we started communicating with Niki she was very responsive with all our inquiries. She made sure we arrived their safe. She even suggested where to pass since it is winter time, roads are very icy and dangerous. We were glad we took here advice. When we arrived at their place everything was in order. Their were labels in the kitchen and in the bathroom. They also provided condiments, toiletries and towels. Every room has a heater. They also have a handbook with all the instructions regarding the facilities at their place. The handbook also contains, list of activities and restaurants that we can explore. The place is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It is perfect if you want to relax and have some fun with friends or family.

The neighborhood is a loop, so you may access the property in two ways. The driveway provides adequate parking for up to 4 vehicles.

Hey there! My name is Niki and I would love to be your host for your trip! My husband and our two yellow labs (Miley & Zoey) love to spend most of our days outside exploring. Our favorite trips tend to be visiting the mountains or the beach and our goal is to visit all 50 states! We have always wanted to be a host on AirBnB and finally have the opportunity to do so.
