Beautiful place a bit isolated within Sequoia national park. About a 20 min car ride to the trail of 100 giants.
The cabin is nice. Beds are very comfortable. They even had towels on the bed for each person. Kitchen is well stocked. Pluming is great. Enough bedroom space for 8 people. With that being said. We only had 2 restrooms available. A 3rd restroom would have been nice since it was 8 of us.
This Cabin was soo peaceful. it is fully carpet, and the host was kind to leave the vacuum out for me to use every day we were there, as per requested from me. I loved how there were space heaters in every room and these heaters were temperature censored which made it nice, so they weren't on all night making the house stuffy. Totally cool. My kids loved to play in the snow with the snow play equipment that was provided. Trail of 100 Giants was such an easy 20 drive. The only thing I would suggest is a deep cleaning as it was more on the dusty side which made our allergies go more and the Dog hair from previous pets were all over the accent pillows and floors. we would definitely go back. the back yard was breath taking and totally worth being cold in the snow lol.
This stay was an amazing experience. The management company was very accommodating and very communicative. This will be our third year coming to Ponderosa for winter fun and our first year staying at this location. The deciding factor this year was definitely the price, this location was a steal! All amenities stated on description were accurate. The home was very comfortable and roomy. No issues whatsoever. Looking forward to staying here again in 2025. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
