Such a cozy place, the 2 mile gravel downhill road was the only trouble we had. Wendy is responsive and the location is a great place to unplug from the city. There was wifi available since the location had no cell service.

This cabin has the rustic charm you would expect in a lovely, private setting but with all the comforts that make you feel at home. It is so pretty inside and out, and well-designed and laid out. For a small cabin it feels roomy. There are so many little touches you may not notice at first, but are a happy surprise when you spot them. That is the whole of it. It makes you feel happy to be there!

My family and I were vacationers here in the NC Mountains since I was a little girl. We moved to this area in 1988. I have managed vacation rentals in the NC Mountains for over 20 years. Often we would rent a home without the luxury of seeing it on a website. There were a few visits when we were quite disappointed in what the home offered compared to our expectations. I strive to represent the cabin rentals as accurate as possible so visitors are pleasantly surprised upon arrival. I strive to make each stay as special as possible and offer prompt response to any unforeseen issues that can happen during stays. We hope you enjoy the property and do return to stay again.
