We enjoyed our stay, there were several restaurants nearby that were good. On the first night we had an issue with the fireplace inside. We had to call the host who was very responsive in getting someone out to help us. The second night we tried to call for issues with the hot tub and nobody answered or returned our calls. Otherwise, check in was flexible and when I called to say we would be late they left our key out front and were helpful in answering any questions we had. Some ants inside but hey it is a cabin. Mostly clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and all amenities were as advertised. Having a hot tub to relax in and watch the sunrise was a very nice amenity that we really enjoyed. There was a little bit of ATV traffic on the dirt roads to the East and South of the cabin, but not enough to be of annoyance. Small tip for future guests of the Dakota cabin: The coffee machine is a normal 10/12 cup drip type. That was the only question I had that I forgot to ask when the Manager called me before check-in to provide instructions and answer questions. I will be recommending to others who want a little getaway to relax in a forest setting.
