Be our guest at The Welkom House! This newly renovated cottage is an ideal getaway for families who want to enjoy a taste of mountain life while still feeling comfortable with all modern amenities. This spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home can accommodate up to six people with one king bed, one queen bed, and one twin bed. A sofa ideal for sleeping is located in the living room. There is a tiled spa-like bathroom to enjoy a relaxing bath after a day of hiking at a local park/trail or a trip to Knobels Amusement Resort with the family. The kitchen with granite countertops and island is fully equipped for preparing a meal for your family. The dining area is a great place to unwind. You will be most comfortable with new heating and air conditioning units as well as high-speed Wi-Fi. The property is adjacent to a beautiful 100-acre farm and wooded area where you can enjoy nature walks, wildlife, and a breathtaking sunrise/sunset over the mountains.

Absolutely charming, modernized, spotless farmhouse, with super comfortable beds. Extremely quiet and peaceful setting. Very spacious kitchen, living room. Will definitely be back on out next trip to area.

I live approximately five minutes from The Welkom House. I enjoy watching the different wildlife roam the area. There are many beautiful red covered bridges in the area that make it seem even more like small- town country living. When I am home, the sounds of nature and the mountains surrounding me make it feel like I am away from the bustling of everyday chaos.
This property is conveniently located off of Rt. 42 in Catawissa. Approximately 10 minutes from Knobels Amusement Resort - 5 minutes to Numidia Drag Strip and close to the towns of Bloomsburg, Danville, Elysburg and Numidia.
