The calming sounds of the ocean and the constant activity of the wildlife on the river and in the ocean from daylight to sunset will make it hard to leave once you have arrived. 1. Inside you’ll find 2 westward facing bedrooms, 2 clean and sparkly bathrooms, a spacious living room with access to the deck and patio, and a fully stocked open kitchen space with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. 2. Outside: there is a beautiful space to hang out and enjoy the view from the large deck and concrete patio, bbq, corn hole set, and a gas fire place to sit around as you take in the sunset in the evening. We have binoculars on hand in case you may be so lucky to catch a whale cruising in the ocean waves or a seal catching a salmon swimming up the river. 3. Things to do: The outdoor activities are endless in this area. Access to the Mad River is a short walk north or south of the property. The closest access to the Pacific Ocean is a 2.5 mile walk or bike ride or a 5 minute drive to Clam Beach County Park. Cal Poly Humboldt is a short 8 minute drive away. Redwood National Park is a 25 minute drive!
