Welcome to the Historical Riverfront Cottage built in 1818 by Frederick Ross the famous Rotherwood Mansion builder. This quirky home is full of character and is the last one story home left in the historical Boatyard district from 1800’s. This beautiful house is located along the Greenbelt pathway. Take a walk or bike along the path or just enjoy a your morning coffee from the porch overlooking the scenic Holston River. Please Note: Our Airbnb rental features a garden with a vast variety of flowers that requires extensive maintenance during the spring and summer. A gardener will be onsite on certain days to ensure the proper care of the lawn and garden beds. This includes tasks such as weeding and general upkeep of the garden beds to maintain a tidy and well-kept outdoor space for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
What a gem of a place!! The outside is a beautiful oasis. The inside is beautiful as well and to know you’re staying in a 200 year old house was just special. Very easy check in. I brought my own drinks and snacks but how kind and nice of the host to offer some of those things for you. I honestly can’t say enough nice things. I hope this place is available the next time I visit the area.
A beautiful historic place right on a river with a Greenway off the back yard. Perfect for a weekend getaway from the city
Zuleika's home is absolutely beautiful! It really is special, history surrounds this house. Zuleika has books and photos about the house, for the history lovers !! The front porch is my favorite place! imagine having your morning coffee overlooking the flowing river! Walking path at the doorstep was really nice, along with a warm greenhouse in the evening Very much enjoyed our stay!
