Anyone affected by the recent floods — we have room in our home if you need a place to stay. This listing is only open to those displaced by the floods or emergency responders. This listing is for the Heartland Room in the new country home in rural Nebraska. If you'd like to see information for the entire house or any of the other rooms, please consult the appropriate listing. Please note that this is not a bed and breakfast. The Heartland Room is on the first floor with two twin beds. The Farmhouse Room has a handicap accessible bathroom. The room opens onto an exterior patio in the back of the house on the north side. You'll receive a key to your room, which also opens the patio door if you arrive late or need to get into your room after hours. There is flat screen TV with Dish network in this room.

This room has the GREAT shower.Please see my reviews of the Heritage and Rustic Rooms. Everything else that you see in my other reviews for rooms at this house...likewise for this one. I did have a mixup while booking. I didn't realize that this room was downstairs away from the other rooms (my error, not theirs). I emailed and we were able to work something out. Ended up not needing to go with plan B. Kids loved this room.

Wymore is a small town about 15 miles north of the Kansas-Nebraska border and about 15 miles south of Beatrice. There are plenty of places to eat and shop in Beatrice and a number of sites, lakes, and other activities in the vicinity. We are only an hour away from Lincoln, the capital of Nebraska.
There is parking available on the property and there is no public transportation in the area.
