Relax and recharge in the light, bright setting of the barn’s open-plan living space, with a well-designed and spacious kitchen area at one end, an adjacent dining table for four and a fabulous lounge area. Beside the French doors, there is seating gathered around a Smart TV and a fabulous wood burner. For cosy warmth all year round, there’s also underfloor heating beneath the polished timber floor. On the same level, the two bedrooms are decorated in a calm, simple style. The king-size has an en-suite shower room while the twin has use of a clean-lined bathroom. A step down from the glazed doors in the lounge, there’s a lovely patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, looking out over the lawn and beautiful countryside - a perfect spot for morning coffee and evening meals, either shaded by the parasol or warmed by the fire pit. Finally, for those guests with a vested interest in sustainability, don’t forget that solar panels power the electricity of this eco-friendly property. Just 5 miles from the barn is the lovely Georgian town of Aylsham, home to Norfolk’s slow food movement - a great place to pick up some local delicacies. For a sandy beach, great shops and places to eat, and a pier with traditional entertainment, head to Cromer, 8 miles, or, if you wish to explore the beautiful waterways of the Norfolk Broads, you can hire a day boat or cruiser in Wroxham, only 15 miles away.
