It was, unfortunately, the worst experience I ever had travelling. I had told the host I’d be arriving on a late flight in Inverness, and when I arrived at the cabin, around 11pm, the heating wasn’t working at the place and there wasn’t hot water available too. The bed and sheets weren’t properly cleaned too and there was even dirty tissues in the bed area (upstairs). After all, I left the cabin around 3 am since it was dangerous to sleep in the 1°C cold without proper heating or even clean bed linens, having to find a hotel with vacancies at that time. The host, when contacted, refused to cancel the reservation and refund, and the problem was only partially solved thanks to Airbnb assistance. Sadly, I can’t recommend the place.

Angekommen in wunderschöner Umgebung in einem schönen Tiny-Haus haben wir uns auf eine entspannten und ruhige Zeit gefreut. Der Bach, der durchs Grundstück fließt und der kleine Ofen auf der Veranda waren zauberhaft. Zur passenden Einstimmung gab es einen Secco und Bier. Der Stauraum in Küche und dem Wohnbereich ist gering. Leider war die Heißluftheizung recht laut, sowie die hintere Platte des Gaßherdes. Für einen Wochenendtrip mit wenig Gepäck und ggf. Essen in Restaurants ist dieses Tiny-House zu empfehlen es birgt Ruhe und Behaglichkeit. Für Bagpacker allerdings herausfordernd.

Absolutely beautiful cabin, gorgeous location. The perfect place for our first anniversary. No interruptions, no noise and the chance to switch off from everyday life. We had a wonderful few days, and even though the weather wasn't the best, we still found time to get out and enjoy the woodlands and wildlife. Definitely hope to come back at some point. Very highly recommended.

The perfect spot for a relaxing weekend in the highlands!! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Will definitely be returning next year!
