The condition of the property far exceeded our expectations. It was real value for money and would recommend it to anyone looking for a base in the Clare Valley.

We had a great three nights at David’s air bnb. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The home is lovely and clean (as pictured). The yard was big and enclosed which is what we were after as we had our dogs with us. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully newly renovated. The beds were very comfortable. We went on day trips to a few beautiful wineries in Clare which were only ten minutes down the road. We would definitely stay again / recommend David’s air bnb.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in the lead up to Christmas. Blyth is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful town that we really enjoyed. Clare is just 10 minutes drive away and has all the ameneties that you could need. The local pub that is just down the street was also great. The Blyth Christmas Street Party was on while we were there and the locals were wonderful and friendly, we were able join in on the festivities with the town and it was really fun. Some beautiful wineries and walking trails are in the Clare Valley area to visit on day trips. The place itself was spotless and really well equipped with everything you could need. Our host David even left some beers and beverages in the fridge for us which went above and beyond! We would definitely come up and stay again :)

We had a lovely long weekend stay at David’s place. He was a most helpful and responsive host, doing whatever he could to make sure our stay was perfect. The house is well kept and clutter free, having been fully, tastefully renovated. The kitchen is very well stocked, including many condiments should you choose to cook at home. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the sheltered back verandah area, which had either a lounge or a large table and chairs to eat/sit at. The Blyth hotel is a short walk down the road, with a friendly new manager and staff, and pub meals available Thursday to Saturday. We initially picked this place as the price was very good, but more so as there is a large walk-in shower (many of the cottages available in the area have dual bath/showers) Late checkout of 11am was a bonus! We look forward to returning in the future.
