Great location and had a really nice sunset view in the resort. The service was very fast and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed Villas Sol. We loved that it was a mix of tourists and locals. The villa itself was clean and very spacious. Our kids had their own room, and it was nice having our bedroom have an extra bathroom. The check-out process was a bit long and sometimes I did not get a response or I couldn't understand the response from host, but we were close enough to walk to the main building and ask questions there. I would not recommend the buffet, but that might just be personal preference. We ate there once, and then other times ate at local grills or sodas. Overall, it was a great experience and we would probably recommend it.

My family had a great stay at the Villas Sol. It was a great staging area for our adventures. The patio is super cozy, amd the kids enjoyed ending the day with a private dip in the little pool. The outdoor shower was a real treat, too. The resort staff was very friendly and professional, too. Overall a great experience!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica so we weren't sure what to expect. arriving at Villas Sol we were greeted warmly and checked into our villa within 15 minutes. The Peaceful Garden villa itself was lovely and private and the kids loved the small, personal pool on our patio. And then there is the beach which is absolutely breathtaking. Filled with activities to do and fabulous beach front restaurants we were on the beach multiple times a day. If I have any complaints at all it would be. 1) that the shuttle service was inconsistent. Some days they were everywhere and incredibly convenient, other days you had to just suck it up and walk because the shuttles had vanished. 2) the food on site was expensive and mediocre. You're much better off walking down to the beach and eating at Roberto's, Aqua or shopping and cooking in your fully equipped kitchen. Overall the criticisms are miniscule compared to the plusses. I'd absolutely recommend and plan on coming back soon. 9.5/10

Second time at Villas Sol. Great shuttle service. This unit had high end finishes and felt very clean and fresh. Highly recommend.
