Dixon is a lovely organic farm and artist's town. 4 WIneries and a Brewery are within 3 miles. please.dont drink and drive to arrange a designated driver or contact Winston, our local shuttle service. It's a quiet little town that puts on its own theater , open mike events, town parades, fairs, fireman pancake breakfasts, star gazi g nights at the baseball fields behind the Dixon Coop Market and Cafe. It's the best place to grab a bite and hear some local news on its front porch.
Zuly's Cafe is at the top of the driveway. great traditional new Mexican cuisine but hours are always restricted so always call to.see if they are open a d what time they take the last order before counting on them for breakfast or dinner

2 hours from Albuquerque Airport. It's best to rent a car but you can take a bus to the Rail Runner Downtown Albuquerque Station a d ride the comfortable tran to Santa Fe South Capital Street train stop, take the free Blue Bus towardsTaos and get off at highway 75 and 68. make sure you arrange the stop with the blue bus driver. walk 2 miles up to houseon left or arrange ride. check schedules before traveling.
1 hour from Santa Fe. Rent a car, though car rentals close early in Santa Fe. take free Blue Bus towards Toas. arrange drop off at highway 75/68 2 mile walk to house on left. if driver will go all the way up Hwy 75 to Dixon Post office stop which is a 5 minute walk to the house
