The house is really beautiful and has such nice decor. As soon as you walk in, you feel at home because of all the lovely details and comfy furniture. The beds are super cozy—one's a queen and the other's a king—and the sheets are top-notch. When it got cold and rainy, the host, Katja, suggested we use the fireplace, which made things even cozier! They had plenty of firewood and everything to get it going. There was a small issue with the heating at first, but they fixed it really quickly, which was great because it ended up snowing that night! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary snacks—they were a nice touch. Millerton is such a cute town that we love, especially since our daughter went to Hotchkiss. We always enjoy coming here and can't wait to stay at Katja's place again next time! Thanks, Katja.

Ample parking, comfortable beds, spacious living room and kitchen. Towels were soft and clean. Home was nicely light, decorated with enough heat to warm us up after all day of snowboarding/skiing. Laundry was available. Great local recommendations for food. We cooked breakfast that morning and had everything we could need. Highly recommend!

I would give the house 10 stars if I could! The pictures do not do this house justice. I hesitated to book this house because it’s new to Airbnb and didn’t have any reviews, but it ended up being perfect for our stay. The house was SPOTLESS and each room was decorated to feel cozy and inviting. The beds are linens were very comfortable and felt quite luxe. My favorite spot was the covered patio where you can sit and read, play games, or hang out and look out at the expansive garden. The kitchen was well stocked and was easy to find what we needed. I loved the little town of Millerton, with antique shops, very nice boutiques, and cafés. The original Harney & Son’s tea shop couldn’t be any more lovely. Sadly it was too cold for us to spend time on the rail trail, but we are very excited about renting bikes and running out there next time we visit. It’s so lovely, you will not be disappointed! I will most definitely stay here again when looking for a spot outside of NYC.
