Jo was really friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The breakfast provided was very generous and a lovely bonus as we were visiting the area for a family wedding so didn't need to shop. The house was very clean and peaceful.
Jo was a great host, friendly and helpful. The accommodation worked out well for us and at a very good price. Easy walking distance to nice pub, amenities and local attractions. Spacious house with generous offering for breakfast.
A short visit to celebrate a wedding close by. Jo was very welcoming, the place is perfect and everything was as described. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house. Also the beds were very comfy!
Berkeley is a lovely old town with a welcoming feel. There are a mixture of very old properties and modern houses. Berkeley attracts lots of tourists through the year eager to visit the castle, Jenner Museum, 13th century church and Cattle Country just outside Berkeley.
There are limited bus services to Dursley, Gloucester, Thornbury and Bristol. There is a train station at Cam & Dursley with train line between Gloucester and Bristol. The M5 junction 14 is a 10 minute drive away. There are some lovely bike rides along country lanes around some of the local villages including Ham, Stone, Hill and Rockhampton as well as picking up the Sharpness & Gloucester canal at Sharpness which goes through Purton and Slimbridge.
自我介绍
I am a full time mum with two daughters. My passion is gardening: I grow all my own plants from cuttings or seeds and I have a plant shop in Berkeley. We grow all our own fruit and vegetables and enjoy making jams and sauces and pickling. I have played the piano since I was 7 and have been teaching myself the clarinet. We have lived in Berkeley for 22 years and enjoy going out for bike rides and walks around the Gloucestershire countryside.
