Milazzo · 整套别墅 · 4室5床3.0卫 · 可住8人 · Villa Afrodite 8, Emma Villas
We are in the area of Messina, between the Monti Peloritani and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Milazzo is known for its port that acts as a launch pad for the Aeolian Islands while the town and the area are full of pleasant surprises. A few minutes from the centre of Milazzo, in a residential area, is Villa Afrodite. The familiar air of this comfortable, two-floor villa makes you immediately feel at ease. On the ground floor is a spacious area composed of a cosy living room and a dining area, separated by an arch and characterised by typical Sicilian coloured tiles, and a built-in kitchen conveniently located between the living area and the outdoor dining area. Everyone will find their own space at Villa Afrodite where a group of friends or a family can spread out between the reading room with Frau chair where they can lose themselves with a book, the living room on the first floor where they can relax on the comfortable sofas, the wellness room with gym equipment and Finnish sauna. A large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub is for the use of the three bedrooms on the first floor. Outside, the swimming pool will offer moments of leisure and play. Near the slightly secluded swimming pool is a comfortable round shaded seat, the perfect place for an afternoon siesta. Exploring the surroundings, the churches, iconic streets, and native delicacies, you will discover little villages such as Castroreale and Tindari just a few minutes from Milazzo. Of the Aeolian islands, the closest are Vulcano and Lipari which can be reached by hydrofoil in about an hour. Milazzo itself, with its castle and old borgo, the elegant streets of the town centre and the nature reserves testifying to clear seas, is just waiting to be discovered. Finally, just over an hour away is the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, Taormina, with its breathtaking views, old places like the Greek Theatre, various buildings, restaurants and shops of high quality. Interior: The villa has two floors connected by an internal staircase. The main entrance goes into a small hallway that leads to the imposing staircase up to the first floor. To the right of the entrance, passing through a cosy reading room, you come to the spacious hall consisting of a comfortable sitting area with working fireplace and an elegant dining area. The living area is directly connected to the kitchen. From the dining area, a short corridor leads to a bathroom with shower and a guest bathroom with shower, which also serves as a laundry room, and then to the kitchen, brick-built as in the old days and with convenient access to the garden with outdoor dining area. Upstairs is a sitting room with fireplace and, next to it, a brightly-lit room with gym equipment and Finnish sauna. The first floor is completed by two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom which share the large bathroom with double basin and large Jacuzzi tub. The three bedrooms on the first floor face onto balconies.
The town is located on the northern coast of Sicily, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. The centre is located in the Plain of Milazzo with the port that acts as a connection with the Aeolian islands. The Castle of Milazzo is located on a promontory that represents the largest fortified citadel in Sicily. At its feet, the old borgo, full of restaurants and bars, is the heart of Milazzo nightlife. The more modern and elegant centre revolves around the Marina Garibaldi, Via Umberto I, Via Giacomo Medici up to the old fishermen's district, Vaccarella. The area includes pedestrian streets, excellent restaurants, bars and numerous elegant shops. The town then develops along a peninsula approximately 8 km long, called Capo Milazzo, in part a Natural Maritime Reserve. On one side the Riviera Ponente with long beaches, both free and with bathing establishments, and on the other the Riviera Levante, a more rocky area with small bays that can be reached via steps from the land or from the sea. Nestled among the Monti Peloritani is Castroreale, an enchanting borgo, part of the circuit of the most beautiful borghi in Italy, with less than 3000 souls and with its ancient splendour still reverberating among its streets and walls, engaging its visitors in a truly unforgettable medieval atmosphere. As in many Sicilian towns, various festivals are celebrated here, but the Jazz Festival at the end of July is a must for visitors. Tindari is located on a promontory overlooking the sea and is known for the "Black Madonna", a suggestive cedar wood statue depicting a Madonna holding Baby Jesus in her arms, for the Greek Theatre and for the Nature Reserve which includes the Lakes of Marinello. The Aeolian Islands are served by hydrofoils and regular ships with frequent departures.
