We (a family of four) spent a month here and really enjoyed our time. If you love nature, you will not be disappointed with the house or the neighborhood as you are surrounded by it in a very peaceful setting. We saw many species of birds pretty much every day (macaws, toucans, aracaris, oropendolas, and many more), had a couple of sloths living 50m away from the house, saw lots of cool lizards and insects, and found three varieties of poison dart frogs near the waterfall in the neighborhood. The pool is very convenient and the internet is good enough that I was able to work remotely from here for a month with only a couple minor issues with power outages. I recommend that you consider bringing an extra fan or two and plan on buying bottled water to drink.

Una casa familiar muy bonita y cómoda, está totalmente equipada con todo lo que se necesita. Las áreas verdes impecables, la piscina muy linda y grande, el jacuzzi es un buen detalle, la casa es muy cómoda y fresca, el trato de Marlene y Celia muy ameno. Realmente la recomendamos y esperamos volver.

A perfect getaway home in the heart of the Caribbean! It is more beautiful in person. Everything about my stay was amazing! I will miss waking up to sloths, monkeys and parrots. I would definitely love to stay in Celia’s home again.

We weren’t Informed until after being booked that there are frequent power outages because of construction but said there were surge protectors that would keep the WiFi running but was false as well as saying there was a gas stove for power outages but that was also false and we weren’t able to cook. The host wouldn’t give us an address and gave us extremely vague directions that were not very helpful. A couple weeks before our stay they had tried to move us into a different house because they started renting it out after we had already booked. Poor communication but a great location with beautiful views and a great pool.
