Ready for your next Charming Ski Town getaway? Look no further than our beautifully furnished DUPLEX with two units fit for a large friends and family getaway. One half has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, while the other half has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Both units have been newly remodeled. With the combination of modern design and tranquil atmosphere, our duplex is the perfect place to spend a family/friend getaway in the town of Bethel! Please note the two units do not interconnect. Guests will have access to a roughly ~1,700 SQFT duplex, with access to both halves. One side of the duplex has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 King + 1 Queen), 1 bathroom, large dining room, coffee bar, and living room. The other side of the duplex has a kitchen, one bedroom (1 King), one bathroom and a dining/living room (with full/queen size pull-out couch). All bedrooms have large (43" and 50") TVs, and both living rooms have 65" TVs. We have put a lot of love and effort into both spaces to make you feel connected to nature while having an amazing time for whatever the occasion. Details about UNIT A of the Duplex --------------------------------------------- There are two bedrooms - one with a KING bed and one with a QUEEN bed, both with comfy sheets and easy access outlets for your electronic devices on the nightstands. Both bedrooms come with 50” Smart TVs ready for you to steam your favorite services. The main living space consists of a couch, two sitting chairs, and a 65" Smart TV. Please note, we only provide access to Netflix and any other streaming services would require you to log-in to access. We do not have any cable. The couch is perfectly situated to watch the snowfall in the winter or watch your favorite shows and movies on the TV when the snow goes down. We've also provided some board games and cards to help you spend some quality time with your family and friends during your trip in addition to 2 yoga mats that can provide you an opportunity to take some time to relax and/or exercise. Moving on to the kitchen, we've tried to design it to feel open while also containing all of the necessities for cooking a nice meal. As frequent travelers who love to cook the local cuisine when staying at Airbnb, we've tried to include just about everything you should need to make a nice meal. There are a few cookbooks supplied for Maine-based cooking along with a fondue pot for you to enjoy with your friends and family. There is also an assortment of spices and everything you should need for a meal from Pots and Pans to proper cooking utensils. In the kitchen, we also have a lovely live edge bar counter with stools that can be used to enjoy meals or work from. This is probably the best place to sit in the whole house when the snow is falling. The bathroom is where we got very creative! There is a single 30” vanity with a large mirror. The shower/tub is a standard shower/tub size with a nice rainfall style shower head which makes showering even more enjoyable. Something worth noting is that doorway and vanity create a narrow space which makes the bathroom really tight, so please be aware of this prior to booking.  In addition to the main living space, bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen, we have a lovely dining room with enough seating for 6 which shares with the entry space where you can hang up your coats and boots. Details about UNIT B of the Duplex --------------------------------------------- You'll have access to a bedroom with a KING bed and comfy sheets along with a dedicated workspace which consists of a desk, lamp and easy access plugs for your electronic devices. The main living space consists of a couch that can be converted into a QUEEN size bed at night with all the sheets hidden in the chaise area along with a fireplace and 65" Smart TV (which has access to Netflix and NO cable). This space also has a dining table to easily accomodate our 4 guests. Moving on to the kitchen we've tried to design it to feel open while also containing all of the necessities for cooking a nice meal. As frequent travelers who love to cook the local cuisine when staying at Airbnb, we've tried to include just about everything you should need to make a nice meal. There are a few cookbook supplied on Maine and Foraging based cooking along with a fondue pot for you to enjoy with your friends and family. The bathroom is one of my favorite parts! There is a double vanity with two large mirrors for you and someone else to get ready very comfortably. There is a separate door from the shower/toilet and the vanity area which means you can get ready while someone else uses the shower/toilet. The shower is 30x30 with a nice rainfall style shower head which makes showering even more enjoyable. We've also provided some board games and cards to help you spend some quality time with your family and friends during your trip in addition to 2 yoga mats that can provide you an opportunity to soak up all the sunlight that pours into the room and take some time to relax. More Information ------------------------------- IMPORTANT: While we are located just off Route 2, we want you to be aware up front that there is some potential for road noise, however, we have just newly insulated the house and added new windows which significantly reduces the noise traveling to the unit. Now some things we absolutely love (and think you will too) about this home's location: - Approximately just one minute by car to Bethel Village means quick and easy access to all of the best restaurants, a small grocery store, and the farmers market on Saturdays from 9AM-1PM whenever you need to pick something up or grab a bite to eat. You can easily walk to all of these things as well in just 5-10 minutes. - We are located DIRECTLY on the Bethel SNOWMOBILE trail with AMPLE parking for your snowmobile trailer which means conveniently hopping on the trails for the day and then coming back to relax and enjoy the night. - If you didn't think location could get any better, we are just 8 minutes to SUNDAY RIVER and 10 minutes to MOUNT ABRAM. Rumor has it you may even be able to flag down the local Mountain Explorer which is a free shuttle from Bethel Village to Sunday River to take you to the mountain and back (we haven't tried this ourselves, but if you're up for testing it you are more than welcome to!) - Some nights if you go in the backyard during the winter you can see Mount Abram from it's lights which is a really fun thing to see when you are located in the heart of the city. - We are located directly off of Route 2 which means you'll be the first the get to Sunday River on a POW day since it's usually one of the first roads to get plowed. This also means that you can get to a lot of your desired destinations faster without having to maneuver some of the winding mountain roads to get to a highway. PLEASE NOTE: this also means there is a potential for traffic noise, although minimal, and you should be aware you're not staying in some countryside ultra quiet place. :) - We are also located directly across from Dollar General (one of the places open latest in town) , which means taking no less than 30 seconds to run out and grab something at the last minute. CVS is located directly next door as well which makes quick and easy access in about a minute without having to get in the car. A brand new gas station (Rusty Lantern) is being built right next door to add more convenience.  - We are also about 18 minutes to Grafton Notch State Park and 30 minutes to the White Mountain National Forest if you are looking to visit those destinations.
