When you arrive to the property you will be at the base of clinch mountain. This unique getaway is in beautiful Mendota. You will have a spacious yard. you can enjoy dining at the pic Nic table and later gather around the fire pit. You can enjoy biking and hiking on the Mendota trail which is minutes away. You can even hike to the fire tower. If you love country music, you are about 15 mins. from the Carter Fold. If you like racing you're about 45 mins. from BMS. Enjoy your stay . The cabin in disguise isn't a cabin outside. It's a double wide home but, when you enter you step back in time with a modern twist. You have 1800 sq. ft. of cabin. It has tongue and groove pine walls, hardwood floors and hickory kitchen cabinet. Primary bedroom has a queen bed and antique dress with vintage decor. Your primary bathroom has a spacious shower handheld shower head. If you arrive and say omg, I forgot my toothbrush...etc. you can take what you need. 2nd bedroom has full antique bed, dresser and vintage decor. 3rd bedroom has twin iron beds antique dresser and vintage decor. They will share a full bathroom with large shower with built in seat. 3rd bedroom has twin iron beds antique dresser and nightstand and vintage decor. They will share a full bathroom. with a spacious shower with built in seat and handheld showerhead. You will have a dining room that seats 6 people. You will have a Coffee bar. decaf. regular, tea, sugar and creamer. you have a full kitchen with the works to cook a meal.

We were driving to Pigeon Forge from Pittsburgh, PA. What a beautiful Air B&B about 6 hours into our drive. Absolutely the cleanest place I've ever stayed. There wasn't a thing she hasn't thought of. If you forgot something, I'm sure she has it there for you. The beds and other furniture were very clean and comfortable. Each room was beautifully decorated, she's very talented. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to prepare a meal. Vickie is a sweetheart. She surprised us with a loaf of homemade bread, homemade apple pie Jelly, and homemade butter. She had the fixings for pancakes in the fridge. It stormed the whole time we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the porch, which looks very inviting. There are some really cool games to play for kids and adults. We couldn't have been more pleased with our first Air B&B experience. Due to unforeseen weather circumstances, I did not get to stay here, but Vicki was communicative and let me know right away what the issues were, and helped me ensure a refund for my stay. I would recommend Vicki as an honest Airbnb host.
Out of the many Airbnb rentals that I have had. This is definitely in my top ten. It was a beautiful place and really felt like a cabin on the inside hence the name. Wonderful decor and comfortable beds. Vickie even left us some fresh bread and jam she prepared herself. Great outdoor scenery and there were also some board games as well as a smart tv. We had a great time for our stay and will definitely be staying again in the future.
The cabin was spacious, nicely decorated, and well stocked. It is a good place to stay if you want to spend some time in the mountains.

Mendota Virginia is a rural community set at the base of Clinch Mountain. It is a river valley with the North Fork of the Holston traveling through the valley.
We recommend guests traveling to the Cabin in Disguise from the interstate take Exit 7 from I81. It seems to work best for guests. After your exit, there will be 17 additional miles remaining before you arrive.
