My friend and I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the DC life and needed a 4 day getaway. So appreciate that David offers non-weekly rentals. We will definitely rent this house again. We had a few questions and David was quick to respond and was very friendly when answering our questions. The house is adorable and is incredibly comfortable. It is a short drive to anywhere you want to go and the neighborhood is peaceful. We both felt very safe walking our dogs at night. We went during the off season so not certain how difficult it would be if you want to get to the beach.

Pleasant stay! Everything was as described. A comfortable home in a very nice neighborhood. I'd definitely recommend David's rental to others.

We have stayed here twice, and it is the perfect location to enjoy both the beach and town. Walkable to both, but tucked away on a quiet street. The screened in porches are a huge bonus, and our dog loved the private fenced in yard.

I booked a last minute getaway over my kids spring break and this was a rare and lucky find! David was accommodating with some schedule changes which was a bonus. The place is Very clean. Nicer than photos! Comfortable master bed. Kids beds were sufficient. The front porch was a nice spot for morning coffee. Loved walking into town. Beach is walkable but a bit of a walk - it’s 5 Long blocks. The town was closer - 3 easy blocks. We Love Dogfish restaurant and that was very close. There is also a lovely park around the corner. We took a ride to the lewes state park beach area where for $10 entry fee per vehicle you can borrow bikes FREE for two hours. A must do! We biked all over and was beautiful nice views. Walking along the boardwalk every morning was so peaceful. Would highly recommend. Only suggestion I have is it would have been nice if the house had some board games / deck of cards. Even better than anticipated! Fabulous location, 15 minutes walk to so many places! And there was new furniture in the living room! Will absolutely go back again!
