Hickory Hollow is a quiet, cozy, spacious home where you and your family and friends can relax and have plenty of spaces to either spread out or gather together and make memories. Set in a peaceful woodsy-country setting, yet just 15 minutes to downtown Boone. Spend your days exploring Moses H, Cone Memorial Park, visiting Tweetsie Railroad, skiing or driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway. After a fun-filled day, gather by the fire pit to roast marshmallows and reminisce! Hickory Hollow’s layout will offer many different groups plenty of options. The home is 2800sf; 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. There are 3 levels of living space which are described here. Main level: Walk into the home on the main level and you’ll find an entryway where you can hang plenty of coats and outerwear in the closet as well as keep boots, gear if you brought some, etc. Also on the main level is the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and sunroom. The dining area seats 8, but there is additional seating in the sunroom, on the other side of the kitchen. You and your friends and family can relax and watch tv or play a game or just sit around and talk, with a roaring fire crackling in the background. Break off into the sunroom for some quiet memorable chats or a morning cup of coffee while everyone sleeps. There is also a half bath on the main level. Upstairs: Upstairs you’ll find 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms are Jack and Jill style, connecting the two rooms with a bathroom. This is a great area to accommodate groups with multiple families or multiple generations. A family can make this their own area sleeping quarters while another family or two can has sleeping quarters upstairs. Or bring the grandparents so they have their own private area. There is a queen bed, sleeper sofa, chairs, a full bath with a bathtub and shower, and the washer and dryer is located on the ground floor.
