Great place to stay if you want to be near everything but not right down town. The house is spa and has an awesome loft with a master bedroom and great bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and it’s perfect for families.
Our stay exceeded all expectations, with the property proving to be even more stunning in person than depicted in the listing photos. The property itself is situated in quite, private, and peaceful neighborhood. Caroline, our gracious host, was nothing short of amazing. Her responsiveness and attention to detail stood out from the beginning. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, guiding us through every step with patience and care. It's a rarity to find a place that perfectly combines ideal location, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, but this property certainly achieved that. I highly recommend it to anyone and we certainly plan to return.
Caroline and Christopher’s house in the Excelsior was a perfec stay during a wedding weekend in San Francisco. I’m originally from the area but needed a play to stay for the weekend, and this home was the perfect base- it was beautiful, clean, and comfortable- all the things we want in a home away from home! The space was thoughtfully laid out and recently remodeled, with new furnishings and appliances that felt both luxurious and useable. The 3 bedrooms were the perfect size for our party, with a large dressing area and bathroom on the top floor that was perfect for getting ready. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. We loved coming back after the day’s events and relaxing around the living room, hanging out and unwinding. The space gets lots of beautiful light, perfect in the SF springtime! We loved walking around in the mornings and found super cute neighborhood spots for breakfast- Cumaica cafe and Hong Kong bakery were local gems. Thank you!

Nuestra estancia en casa de Caroline y Christoper fue de ensueño, una experiencia inolvidable. Lograron que nos sintiéramos como en casa, siempre atentos para que no nos faltara nada y estuviésemos cómodos. La casa, sus habitaciones y todo lo que incluía espectacular, y el lugar no se puede describir con palabras. Podría decir que ha sido el mejor alojamiento donde nos hemos hospedado en San Francisco, totalmente recomendable, (muy limpio, ordenado, funcional, practico, bonito, comodo y genial) Mi familia y yo estuvimos muy cómodos y felices. Paris and Prague, Russia and Brazil, are all steps from each other on the avenues and streets held within the neighborhood’s boundaries of Silver and Geneva Avenues, Mission Street and McLaren Park. Close-knit Excelsior is among the oldest and most culturally diverse areas in San Francisco. Asian supermarkets, Mexican taquerias and Salvadoran bakeries line Mission Street, while colorful street art depicts the neighborhood's ethnic variety.
We provide free parking in our driveway for guests with a car. For additional parking, our neighborhood provides free street parking. As for getting around and local transportation, all the main muni / bus lines are just a 5 minute walk to Mission street.
