Hillside Oasis offers a private 8-meter heated (30 deg C) swimming pool (available 1st April to 30th September) & hot tub (year round). Inside is a snug retreat recently renovated with a lovely bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Within walking distance to local shops, cafes, pubs and 150 yards from the train station, offering easy connections to Portsmouth, Southampton, Brighton, and beyond. A perfect place for relaxation, convenience, and exploration of the many local attractions. You’ll have your choice of either twin beds or a king size bed (5'0'' x 6'3'') ensuring a restful night’s sleep for up to 2 guests. The cosy bedroom is thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind, providing a relaxing atmosphere to recharge after a day of adventure. Freshen up in your modern shower room, equipped with all the amenities you need for a refreshing start to your day or a soothing end to your evening. Prepare your meals in the kitchen, complete with a hob, fridge freezer, air fryer and microwave. Indulge in the ultimate relaxation with your private 6-person Hydropool hot tub. The therapeutic jets and spacious design make it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Your private 8 meter heated (30 deg C) swimming pool is a great spot for relaxation and fun, set amidst lovely landscaped grounds. The pool area enjoys complete privacy, shielded from the main house and neighbours' view. This ensures you can unwind on the sun loungers, basking in complete seclusion. As the day transitions to night, subtle lighting adds a nice touch to the surroundings, making it a comfortable space for a swim under the moonlight. Adjacent to the private pool and garden, there's a covered seating area with comfortable sofas and chairs. I could not fault anything at this beautilful place and amazing host. Everything we needed was there, it was peaceful and the host was incredible. Will without a doubt be coming back :)

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights in April and had a wonderful time! We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and chilling in the hot tub. When the sun came out, it felt like we were somewhere abroad on holiday! The cabin was clean, modern and has everything you need. Private and peaceful. Short walking distance to the train station is great as we went to Portsmouth for the day. Nice walk to Portchester castle and just a short drive to Port Solent. Definitely recommend Jo's place! 👌
Lovely place to stay!
It was wonderful to stay at such a beautiful property. From before booking to check-out, Jo was extremely helpful and provided lots of information about the property and local area. The cabin is wonderful and clean and the hot tub and pool were just incredible. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. We also hope to return soon.

Portchester is 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Portsmouth and around 18 miles east of Southampton.
Most famous for it's Castle - Portchester is one of the best preserved of the Roman ‘Saxon Shore’ forts and was built in the 3rd century. Covering ten acres, it is the only Roman stronghold in northern Europe whose walls still stand mainly to their original height and with many of its original towers.
Portchester was in the front line in the Hundred Years War, was transformed into a palace by Richard II and was later used as a prison.
The Portchester Castle museum tells the story of this eventful history and from the towers there are spectacular views over the Solent.
The great guns of the Royal Armouries Museum at Fort Nelson look out over Portchester and the Solent from their commanding position on Portsdown Hill and nearby you’ll also find the military attractions of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Southsea Castle.
Not far away there’s the tranquillity of Titchfield Haven nature reserve and for shopping and entertainment you can visit Gunwharf Quays, the Spinnaker Tower and Port Solent.
