With this holiday apartment you will have 107 beautiful square meters spread over two levels at your disposal. The apartment has room for 6 people and provides lovely surroundings both indoors and outdoors. There are 3 beautiful bedrooms and 2 nice bathrooms. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower, so you don't have to queue up for access. In one of the bathrooms, you will also find a washing machine and dryer. From two of the three bedrooms there is direct access to a small terrace. The terrace doors are smartly designed with insect nets, so you can let air in on warm summer nights. Lovely bright bedrooms, simple decor and plenty of storage space, so you can unpack. The entire upper floor is designed as one large kitchen-dining room. Nice kitchen corner with all modern facilities incl. a smart dish drawer. Lovely dining area with plenty of space at the white dining table and a super cozy sitting area with large chaise longue and good reading light, where you can curl up with a good book. In the middle of the room are two nice deck chairs, from here you can enjoy the view of the White Lighthouse, Betty Nansen's Villa (*) and the shipping traffic on Kattegat. Lovely light from the many windows and patio doors on both sides of the room. The area is ideal for lovely walks or jogging in the fantastic surroundings. A short walk from the holiday home you will find the famous and very child-friendly beach Sønderstrand, where lifeguards are on duty all summer. For those of you who are into the slightly wilder North Sea, take the trip out to Skagen Nordstrand, towards Skagen Odde Nature center, Poul Eeg Camping and past Radarhoved Skagen. A visit to Grenen, where the two seas Skagerrak and Kattegat meet, is a must on the holiday program. On the trip out to Grenen you pass two of Skagen's many lighthouses, the White Lighthouse and the Grey Lighthouse. The Grey Lighthouse is today also the Center for Migratory Birds. From the top of the lighthouse you have a fantastic view of the area on Grenen, over Skagen Harbor and the roof tops of the city. At the foot of the lighthouse, you will find both Restaurant Blink, where you can enjoy a good lunch, and the Center for Migratory Birds, where you can learn more about the many migratory birds that pass Grenen every year. (*) Betty Nansen's Villa was originally built as a quarantine station for sick sailors but was never used for this purpose. Instead, in 1932 it became the summer residence of the actress Betty Nansen. Upon her death in 1943, the house was donated as a summer residence for Danish actors.
