Very nice house, family friendly (dog friendly too if you have one). The cafe and surf club are walking distance as are the local pub and shopping centre. The house has great views of the beach and is in a nice peaceful area. There is also onsite car parking for 2 or more cars. Overall we were happy with our stay and would come again!
We stayed at the ‘Hidden gem in Moana’ for 4 weeks due to our own house being uninhabitable and insurance finding this accommodation for us. Joseph was a fantastic host. Easy to communicate with and very patient and understanding with working with our insurance provider. Due to our situation, at the beginning of our stay we only had the bare essentials so it was great having the house stocked with some essentials like shampoo and conditioner for us to use. Was very impressed with the kitchen with everything we needed. Even some extra cooking supplies like flour, rice and sugar. The house was very spacious with great entertainment facilities. Very nice big TV in the upstairs lounge room, great views from the balcony and nice big backyard. Air-conditiong in the main areas and ceiling fans in most bedrooms kept the place cool especially during the last heat wave. Absolutely loved our time in this lovely house, just wish we had stayed longer to enjoy it properly! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the home was MORE spacious than the photos suggested. So many different spaces to sit and relax. Was also pleasantly surprised by the nice quality cooking utensils, something uncommon in Airbnbs! The only slight downside was the house took a while to cool down and the bedrooms were a little stuffy at night, only having a few wall-mounted split system air cons. (But we were there during a heatwave, so this is probably not a usual issue). Joseph was easy to communicate with and friendly. Overall, I can’t recommend this lovely place more highly. 😊
