It is the ideal property to return to at the end of an action-packed day. As you enter the hall, you can tickle the ivories before heading through to the spacious farmhouse kitchen/diner to cook up some treats. The ground floor is also home to two bedrooms and a family bathroom. You’ll find the two further bedrooms on the first floor alongside the comfortable lounge with its countryside views, and a shower room. In the evening, enjoy a drink on the shared patio whilst making plans for the following day. With an abundance of walking, cycling, canoeing, climbing and caving opportunities, the Peak District is made for adventures. Explore the steep dales and limestone plateaus at Castleton (9.5 miles) in the White Peak or for the more daring amongst you, head underground into the area’s showcaves. Remember that all adventurers need ‘rest days’, so wander the cobbled streets of the historic ‘Capital of the Peak’, Chapel-en-le-Frith (3 miles), or venture to Georgian thermal spa town Buxton (7.5 miles) for a glass of spring water.
