Featuring a wood burner, floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed brickwork, this delightful hideaway has been tastefully decorated throughout and makes a wonderful base for exploring the breathtaking Cheshire countryside. Entering this airy property, the bright and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a cheery social space for you all to unwind in. With a wood burner, Smart TV, plenty of seating and bi-fold doors allowing plenty of light in, the lounge is a great space to settle back, chat about the day or watch a movie. The central dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal which you can rustle up in the stylishly designed and fully equipped kitchen which benefits from underfloor heating. Going upstairs, there’s a refreshing bathroom and two light and relaxing bedrooms to choose between: a light and cosy twin room, and a pretty king-size room which has floor-to-ceiling windows with outstanding views. Bi-fold doors lead from the lounge and out onto the enclosed patio. With a choice of outdoor furniture, this is a great space to sit back, dine alfresco and take in the stunning surrounding views. Mellor is a welcoming village with three pubs and a golf club, and is nicely situated for exploring the magical local woods and moorlands. There are plenty of local attractions and landmarks to experience including the Marple Aqueduct, Lyme, The Garden House, Etherow Country Park, Bramall Hall, Brookside Miniature Railway and Mermaid’s Pool (all within 10 miles).
