This lovely cottage is in a peaceful location in a sleepy village, just 18.5 miles from York. With plenty of space for up to four guests, this property has lots of stylish charm and is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for small families wanting to enjoy their first holiday together. Pass through the wooden gate to park your car on the sweeping gravel driveway. You’ll walk past the wonderful private garden on the way to the front door, where you’ll step in to be greeted by a fresh and bright hall. Move through to the lounge, where calming, neutral decor blended with pastel blues and pine furniture creates a cosy atmosphere that’s perfect for snuggling up in the evening. Get cosy on the sofa and watch your favourite Netflix shows on the Smart TV, or curl up with a book. Look out for the intricate designs on the tiling in the ornamental fireplace that add a quirky touch. Next door to the lounge is the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen, where soothing blue tones are carried through from the lounge into the tiling along with peaceful creams and whites. Beautiful wood-style worktops and rustic furniture welcome you into this room that is ideal as a social space as well as a room just for mealtimes. Cook up a storm for the whole family to eat at the rustic wooden dining table, or maybe snack on something from your welcome pack. Spend hours at the table chatting over a bottle of wine and a board game. Throw open the patio doors to the garden to let in lots of natural light, or maybe even dine alfresco on those warm summer nights.
