We really loved Hacienda La Luisa. The property was beautiful and filled with birds and flowers. The fresh bunch of bananas hanging from the porch was a great touch. The only negative was inconsistent water from the tap and shower. Also, I don't remember if we were told to bring our own drinking water, luckily we did. I would highly recommend this location for nature lovers, just remember to bring drinking water.

This place was amazing. A lil hard to find due to one way being out for construction. But host communicated great to find the alternate rt. Getting in was easy. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The outside kitchen was so charming. It is a little bit rustic....rustic works great for us though. We felt like queens in our own little mountain castle. Our host was fantastic. Answering any questions we had and giving information and things to do. There are plenty of dishes ect to cook your own meals. Thankyou for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. We loved your country. Jaw dropping views around every corner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hacienda. The grounds were stunning - lush green foliage, beautiful fruit trees and palm trees. The view of the mountains was spectacular. I enjoyed the sounds of the frogs and birds - only rarely did we hear anything else. The mountain driving is not for the feint of heart, but we ventured out every day to find water falls and beaches and came back to the house to relax and enjoy a meal together. The middle kitchen area is great for dinner or late morning coffee when the sun starts to get hot. The house was clean and we found everything we needed for cooking. Hector and Rosaria were easy to communicate with and recommended a few local spots to check out. Thank you Hector for providing this sanctuary.

¡En general una buena experiencia! La comunicación con Hector fue excelente, a pesar de estar enfermo y no poder recibirnos. Hubo un problema inesperado con una de las amenidades a la llegada, pero lo resolvió rápidamente. El lugar es hermoso, la finca es hermosa, perfecta para relajarse. Puede que se escuche algo de ruido de carros pasando o música a lo lejos, pero es bastante tranquilo el lugar en general. Las amenidades fueron buenas pero hubo algunas sorpresas inesperadas, por ejemplo: - El jacuzzi es tremendo, pero el agua nunca calentaba. - Hay un sauna, pero no se puede usar. - El baño es tremendo, pero la puerta de la ducha no se desliza fácilmente, por lo que es difícil abrirla y cerrarla. Parece que huéspedes anteriores tiraron pan al estanque para alimentar a los peces, por lo que había pan flotando en el agua. A LOS FUTUROS HUÉSPEDES: ¡No hagan esto! Esto altera el pH del agua y puede matar a los peces (vimos 2 muertos).
