We had a great stay! We used google maps and it took us right to the home, and Madeline provided helpful instructions. The road is a little rough but wasn’t an issue - just took a little extra time to drive slowly for the last couple miles.

Comfortable and tidy space. The semi-rural acreage community was quiet. The people were friendly and welcoming when we went for a walk and encountered locals. We had a magnificent view of the 2024 total solar eclipse! There was a baker in our group that admired the cook books, culinary school class notes, and kitchen equipment. "A great place for a baking weekend." A criticism of the little house: The water heater is small. And if it's been sitting, the water won't be as hot as you expect. Not well suited for long hot showers and might have to space showers out a bit. A criticism of the neighborhood: you gotta drive a mile or two on low maintenance back roads with disintegrating pavement. Low clearance sporty vehicles might struggle with the pot-holes. All vehicles will want to go pretty slow. Early reviews mention navigation problems: We told Google Maps to download a map of the area and we pinned the geo-coordinates of the house before setting off. Easy peasy.

We wanted a spot in the country as we drove across north Texas and had our little dog with us. This was a clean, fully fitted out spot in the sticks. The neighborhood/surroundings were not scary and we enjoyed the beautiful trees behind the house and the fresh air immensely.
