This cabin is beautiful, and in an incredible location. We had a terrific time sitting out on the patio and on the screened in porch, watching the river flow by and herons hunt for fish. Plan to spend a lot of time outdoors, especially by the fire pit at night which was beautiful and well appointed with well dried firewood. Although the stove is electric, it performed very well, that is a plus if you want to do cooking, but the galley kitchen means it really is only amenable for one person, two at the most. The grill is a Weber and also worked very well. If you come with a larger group, be forewarned that the kitchen is very small, as is the bathroom. The bathroom in particular has very tight quarters, and there's just one bathroom for the entire cabin. The toilet is tucked into a very tight space. Also, the river current by the cabin is quite fast, so it is not ideal for swimming right by the cabin. There are other opportunities for swimming further upstream if that is something you want to do. The whole point of staying at this cabin is to be outdoors and unplug, but if you do have technology needs, the internet was slow and the television did not work well. This would not be an ideal place to work from home, nor to watch a game. There are no charging stations or USB outlets, so make sure to bring your own. Overall, this is a very nice cabin with plenty of different spaces to enjoy.

The cottage is a true get away on a very beautiful part of the AuSable. The wildlife may not be on the payroll but it added to this lovely setting. The communications from William and his team were just wonderful. The kitchen is so easy to cook in and the dining and entertaining areas are a good size- the screened porch functions as another room- the most popular room. If you are in easy driving distance of the property you need to experience this place.

Pine Bend was a little haven set in the wilderness. The place is rustic but with modern day amenities. The grounds are gorgeous but the screened in porch puts you right in the thick of nature….without the bugs.

This is a fantastic place along the River. Have stayed here multiple times and everything is smooth and well taken care of by the owners!

Great location and a beautiful place. I would totally recommend, as long as internet is not a requirement.
