Loved our stay, very comfortable and roomy!
Booked Kelly’s cabin for a get away with some friends and we all couldn’t find enough great things to say about it! It was perfect and extremely nice! 10/10 would stay again!
My family and I enjoyed staying in the cabin, it’s even more beautiful in real life. Kelly is a great host, we were having a hard time finding the house i called her and she was quick to respond she FaceTimed me and made sure i went to the right one. I recommend this place!
One word. AMAZING. We loved our stay at Chateau Thoreau. Immaculate home, furnished just enough to feel homey yet not cluttered. The property is gorgeous, nature at it's finest with multiple decks to enjoys the outdoors any time of day. We are a family of 5, kids ages 16, 14 and 9. They enjoyed the games, we all had plenty of room for together time as well as time apart. ; ) Also found out that Shuffleboard is fun for all ages - who knew?! We cooked almost every meal at home, plenty of utensils and gadgets, pots and pans... the outdoor grill was great. The hot tub, excellent - outdoor games and firepit - epic. Tips: -Follow Kelly's instructions on how to get to the property. -Go to Mountain Man Meat Market - SO amazing... they are awesome people with incredible options for you to grill Kelly is a fantastic host - super responsive, proactive - you can tell she really cares about your experience. Don't hesitate to book this one - we will be back!!

Getting around Hochatown and the surrounding area is relatively straightforward. While the cabin's secluded location provides the ultimate in tranquility, you will find that most amenities and attractions are within a short drive. We recommend bringing or renting a car for the greatest flexibility or use the local shuttle service. This will allow you to easily reach the many nearby attractions and the various local restaurants and shops.
For outdoor enthusiasts, biking or hiking can be a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the area. Regardless of how you choose to get around, we're confident you'll enjoy exploring the natural beauty and attractions of the area at your own pace.
