My family and I spent a great time at Ruby’s place. It is a nice and warm place with all you need for a trip. Ruby is very friendly and even got us a high chair for my son, which helped a lot. There is an elementary school nearby, and the playground is open after school time, we tools a walk every evening there, the neighborhood is pretty quiet and friendly. Parking is also very convenient. In a word, Ruby has all you need for a good travel. I strongly recommend.
Ruby’s place is peaceful, quiet and in a safe neighborhood. It feel like home away from home. Nice touch like grounded coffee, bottles water, chips etc. The unit is clean and have a very comfortable king size bed. Owner was very proactive and very responsive to queries. Will definitely stay there again when we are visiting Vancouver

We are located in Killarney neighbourhood, known for its quiet and family-friendly residences yet sizzling commercial activities (along Kingsway street).
We are located only two blocks from Central Park, a short drive from Fraser Golf Course, and a short walking distance to the Rapid Bus route to University of British Columbia (UBC) and Metrotown shopping centre, and shopping area on Kingsway street.
1. Central Park
Central Park is a large park, only 4 blocks from our Residence. It is beloved by local residents thanks to its convenient access, charm, and activities it offers.
There are family friendly walking, jogging, and biking trails. An outdoor fitness circuit is located along the 2.5-kilometre Trail of Hope. The equipment is designed to focus on the following areas: cardiovascular, balance, strength and flexibility.
Swangard Stadium is a world-class multi-purpose stadium that the Vancouver Whitecaps soccer team calls home.
The outdoor pool is open to the public in the Summer time.
Also, try pitch & putt, tennis (there are 12 outdoor courts there), the 2 large picnic areas, or outdoor games such as volleyball, lawn bowling, horseshoe, or social games
2. Metrotown Shopping Center
Discover one of the largest shopping malls in Canada, with 400 stores, restaurants & movie theatre. This major attraction in Vancouver region is located a short walking distance from Central Park.
3. Kingsway street: Shopping and dining
From our Residence, walk North 500 meters on any street and you’ll find yourself on Kingsway street. There you’ll find hundreds of restaurants and desert shops, grocery stores, banks, spas and salons.
4. Killarney Community Centre
Killarney Community Centre – located near Kerr St and East 49th Ave – has activities and services for all ages.
They offer licensed pre-school and childcare, seniors centre, concessions, billiards area, full sized gymnasium, dance studio, swimming pool with a steam room and whirlpool, ice rink, and fitness centre. Outside, there are tennis courts and a playground at nearby Killarney Park.
