Enter from the street into the spacious, open-plan living space with wooden flooring underfoot and comfortable seating arranged around a cosy open fire in the living area—the perfect place to curl up with a good book or to watch a movie with loved ones. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, plan the next day's activities over a delicious meal in the dining area, or head outside and dine alfresco on the patio's garden furniture. When it comes time to rest sleepy heads, two attractive bedrooms await, each with plush king-size beds and their own en-suite shower room. Known as the Gateway to the Cheviot Hills, Wooler sits on the edge of Northumberland National Park, an area with abundant natural beauty and official ‘Dark Skies’ status thanks to a lack of nighttime light pollution. Walk to the shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants from your door or take a stroll along the banks of Wooler Water, the river that runs through the town. Head up Humbleton Hill for amazing views of the surrounding countryside, enjoy the fabulous scenery en route to St. Cuthbert's Cave, and discover the former King of Northumbria’s palace ruins at Ad Gefrin, all within 9 miles. Alternatively, take a journey back in time with a ride on the steam train from Heatherslaw (10 miles) or for a day out at the seaside, drive to the sandy beach and magnificent castle at Bamburgh (16 miles).
