My fiance and I never got out of our vehicles once we arrived at the location. The area surrounding the rental seemed very unsafe and ran down. We knew that if we parked our cars for any length of time they would almost definitely be vandalized. It is clear why they have a “no refund” policy, and why they have no pictures of the outside of the rental. If you are ok with rolling the dice on your safety and the safety of your vehicle, I’m sure the property is great on the inside. I wouldn’t know. The host that we communicated with was great aside from tacking on a pet fee after booking and refusing to refund our money when we stated safety concerns. Up until then, they were lovely and responsive. We ended up driving away from the area as fast as possible, and booking a hotel as far from the area as was reasonable. Even if I do not get a refund, it was worth losing the money for my safety and the safety of my loved ones. I believe this property is a scam, taking advantage of Airbnb.

JD’s place is clean and convenient , great communication, very close to downtown,when staying in Hartford , got everything we need, will stay again if we are in the area.Thank you
