Enjoy a seaside escape at Singline Cottage, located just 500 metres from beautiful Henderson Lagoon and Steels Beach in Falmouth on Tasmania's East Coast. Built in 1910, the Federation cottage has been lovingly restored; maintaining original features with some newly added modern comforts. The cottage has a beautiful old-world charm, with curated interiors and vintage wares styled throughout. Enjoy picturesque views of The Sisters mountain range from the rear of the expansive, 2.5 acre property. Singline Cottage is one of the original homes in Falmouth and is named after the Singline family who lived in Falmouth and worked at the nearby historic Enstone Park homestead in the late 1800s. The cottage sleeps up to six guests and is dog and family friendly. There are three generously sized bedrooms, all with new beds and linen. The two front bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds and the third bedroom has two king single beds and a workspace. After exploring all the wonderful attractions in the local region, rest and relax in front of the wood fire heater in the cosy lounge room stocked with books, card games and puzzles. The TV gets all the local channels and there is a Chromecast for casting programs from your phone or device to the TV. We also have free Wifi for you to use during your stay. The sunny kitchen overlooks the garden area, featuring a firepit and Weber BBQ. A selection of tea and coffee is supplied for your enjoyment, along with some basic pantry staples. The bathroom is next on our list to renovate but it is perfectly functional, with a step-in shower and vanity.

Really enjoyed our stay in Falmouth. The cottage was perfect for us and had a great feel to it. Short walk to the rivermouth and right near the park - great for the kids.
We had a lovely few days at this gorgeous cottage. We were grateful to be able to bring our 2 dogs along also. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. We enjoyed having a wine by the fire pit in the backyard and toasting marshmallows. The yard was made secure for our small dogs, which we very much appreciated. It was cool enough for us to light the wood heater and it warmed the house beautifully. Towels and linen were clean and quality. Thanks Mitch and Meredith so much, we hope to return later in the year.
If you like heritage cottage with a beach vibe then this is for you, moment we arrived it reminded me of my family home when I was a child in the country, loved the beach on the front porch to kick back and relax too the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in at any Airbnb. country style kitchen with a full view of the backyard. loved the fire pit at night time no wind just open sky. the beach is walkable just 10 minutes down the road plus it's 20ks outside of st Helens and scammader is up the road not far, will definitely come back here again.
My friends and I had a fantastic stay here!!! It is located in the most beautiful location, right near the beach. The place was decorated so nicely, it made us feel like we were at home. Thank you for having us stay!!
What a lovely place, cosy yet roomy. Very comfortable lounge. Beds were very welcoming in wonderfully minimal cottage rooms. A spacious kitchen looking out into the yard and hills. A short walk to the beach and great base to explore the east coast from.

Falmouth is a peaceful hamlet located on the Surf Coast of the Great Eastern Drive, between Freycinet and the Bay of Fires. It is only a one minute drive off the highway. The community is made up of holiday shacks and friendly permanent residents. It is a quiet neighbourhood and it is unlikely you will encounter any disturbances. Some roads are sealed, others are unsealed and there is a new footpath leading from Grant Street along to the Falmouth day use area with access to Henderson Lagoon and Steels Beach, popular with surfers and kayakers. There are walking tracks around the headland and there is another beach at the end of Franks Street, a short walk away.
Singline Cottage has parking spaces for up to four cars. Falmouth is bike friendly, we do not supply bikes so you need to bring your own. You can walk everywhere in Falmouth, but if you choose to drive to the beach there are usually plenty of parking spaces available.
