A lovely comfortable flat in an excellent location right on the harbour. Spacious living rooms and very quiet, little noise from neighbours or outside. Plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants and the main beach is less than a mile away. Perfect for a short break.

Great stay, lovely walks along the seafront. Flat was well equipped. Fresh and clean bathroom. The communal areas of the building don't reflect the same grandeur as the frontage of the building, however that is not likely to be something the host has control of.

We had a good stay at The Look Out. It was comfortable, warm and clean in a great and peaceful location. We would stay again!

Paul is very helpful with instructions & there was a nice little pile of leaflets and the like regarding the local amenities when we arrived. The bathroom is nicely fitted-out and very clean and there is plenty of hot water. In the main bedroom, the double bed is very clean and comfortable, although we would have preferred it to be a little bigger. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with crockery and cutlery etc. We can't comment on the single beds, as there was only the two of us and we didn't use them. Location-wise, the apartment is on the top floor of an old hotel with lots of stairs, however that isn't an issue as there is a lift as well, which is nice when you're bringing your bags up, and it's only a few paces to the apartment from the lift. As to be expected, being on the harbourside at Harwich, you can see containers & shipping in the distance and you have a good view over the rooftops, which was actually quite interesting. "Thai up at the quay" is recommended for food.

This is our fourth stay at The Lookout. We love the location and Paul is an amazing host. We plan to return in 2024.
