A contemporary apartment at the top of a beautiful period property, itself set in an elevated position, just 1.5 miles from the golden sands of Woolacombe Beach. Offering stunning views of the coast, it is the perfect retreat for a large family or group of friends, with bright, open-plan living areas, a shared split-level garden at the rear and easy access to some of the most popular attractions found along the coast. Fully laden with modern creature comforts that are complemented by stylish soft furnishings and tasteful nautical colours throughout, the apartment is reached via a staircase which leads into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, complete with a vaulted ceiling and far-reaching coastal views. Light and airy, it’s an inviting space for relaxing your way or enjoying hearty meals prepared in the contemporary kitchen. There are three bedrooms in the apartment - an en-suite super-king-size bedroom, a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom. A spacious family bathroom completes the interior. Down on ground level, your party has access to a shared split-level garden, where you can enjoy BBQs during the day and spend the night watching the stars while snuggling under blankets. The pretty village of Mortehoe (within 1 mile) offers a range of family-friendly shops, pubs and eateries, as well as access to the South West Coast Path. The golden sands of Woolacombe beach (1.5 miles) is a mecca for water sports lovers, while its village is home to numerous amenities. The Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe (5 miles) is a great family day out, while the stunning vistas seen from the moorland, woodland and coastal paths throughout Exmoor National Park (11 miles) have to be seen to be believed. A lovely place to stay. The open plan living area works really well for a large group, it is comfortable and easy to be in and the main bathroom is excellent. The apartment is very well fitted out with everything that you might need to cook for a large group, assuming you don't dive off to one of the local restaurants!The location is peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views out to Lundy Island. It's easy to walk down into Morthoe and from there on to numerous National Trust walks or simply enjoying the local pubs, tea rooms and fish and chips! Access to Woolacombe, its beaches and surfing is really easy, you just need to be prepared for the parking! The whole area is beautiful, we love it there and the apartment worked out perfectly for us. Holiday Cottages were friendly and helpful, so highly recommended.
