Fiona's apartment is full of character and was sparkling clean. It feels very comfy and is definitely a home away from home. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen which had all the essential appliances, even an air fryer! The location of the apartment is perfect for either taking cruises on the Loch or exploring the area. The washing machine was appreciated, as were the clothes lines outside. Best of all was the relaxing outdoor area right next to the "burn", a perfect spot for a glass of wine and snacks. Fiona and David are great hosts, very friendly and a great help as they have expert knowledge of the area. We would love to come back some time!

It is no secret Scotland is overpriced when comparing to average salary, but Fiona's place in Balloch worked out for us, providing a cozy and functional home for more than a week. Private entrance, quiet. Two bathrroms all in perfectly renovated old buildings. Hosts are very nice, warm and welcoming.
