First Floor: The kitchen (2 barstools located at island), casual dining nook (sits 4 people), formal dining room (sits 6 people), living room (couch, 2 sitting chairs & Roku smart TV), 1/2 bath, and washer/dryer are located on the first floor. Second Floor: There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The King bedroom is located on your left at the top of the stairs with a full bath en suite (stand up shower). The King bedroom has a closet, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a Roku smart TV. The Queen bedroom is located on your right at the top of stairs, also with a full bath en suite (shower tub). The Queen bedroom has a walk-in closet, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a Roku smart TV. Hays Creek Cottage sits on 1.6 acres which you will have full access to explore! There is a gravel road (rarely traveled!) that runs through our property. Our home is located on one side of the road with the other half of our property bordering the creek where we have a fire pit and 4 Adirondack chairs for you to utilize.

Gorgeous getaway spot in the country with easy access to trails. Peaceful and quiet, but very accessible. Thoughtfully updated farmhouse with quality touches a notch above most Airbnbs. Megan was also super responsive. Definitely going on the shortlist of places to revisit.
The second we saw Hays Creek Cottage on AirBNB we knew it was the right house for the type of vacation we wanted, and the moment we drove in the driveway and walked into the house, we knew we made the right decision. We needed a vacation that offered peace, quiet, and nature, away from our busy life filled with (too many) activities and responsibilities. Each one of us in our family found something that was exactly what we needed - the kids especially loved the bedroom and bathroom they shared, we loved the decor (uncluttered, comfortable, and beautiful) throughout the house. My wife is an artist and enjoyed the light that came in the windows in the morning at the little breakfast nook, and spent most of her time at home soaking in the inspiration that surrounded us. We all loved the fire pit and size of the yard for each of us to breathe in fresh air and dip our toes in the creek. The bells and whistles of this place come in the form of peace and quiet, and everything in between.

What a wonderful experience! This host is super thoughtful and everything about our stay was perfect. The home is well equipped with a beautiful kitchen comfortable living room pristine linens on a brand new firm mattress. The surrounding are serene. We enjoyed our time away near the babbling creek or rocking in the front porch or visiting so many of the local recommendations from the host. Stellar airbnb and 5 star host!
Place was very serene and peaceful. Fire pit by the stream was really nice. You could see so many stars!! The inside was beautiful and clean. The king bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and very nice. The kitchen was clean, beautiful and well stocked. We will come back for another get away! Megan was an awesome and responsive host!
