There aren’t words to do this property or the hosts justice. My family and I were in awe from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The natural beauty that surrounds the home is surreal. Once inside we quickly realized that the beauty and tranquility could be found inside the home as well. There was so much space and the hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The beds were comfortable, kitchen is big, plenty of bathrooms, and everything was very clean! My kids (who generally do not enjoy staying in an AirBnB) were begging me to “buy this house so we never have to leave”! Thank you for such an amazing and memorable weekend and for allowing us to stay in your slice of heaven.

What an amazing gem in Lexington!! We stayed here for our daughter’s recent graduation from VMI—it was the perfect location for our friends and family to stay for multiple days to celebrate and take in one last visit to Lexington. The house is simply wonderful—plenty of room for our group of 11–we never felt crowded. The kids loved the games and swing—and the adults loved all the porches (who would have guessed it would be 50 degrees in December and we could enjoy the beautiful outdoors). The house was immaculately clean and we were just able to rest and relax. I highly recommend this house for large groups coming to Lexington! Thank you for making our last stay here so memorable.

The house was better than we even imagined. Past reviews said there was only one real shower (and a hand held sprayer in the jacuzzi tub) but a second full shower (with two shower heads!) was added. We had 12 adults and two kids and there was room for everyone! We also had a make up artist, hairdresser and two photographers come for the wedding day “get ready” and we had beautiful spots for all the festivities! We would highly recommend this house for a larger crew who want space, peace and comfort!

My family stayed here over Labor Day weekend, and we had the best time. The kids were thoroughly entertained by the creek for days, catching crawdads, paddling about, and building fairy houses. There were a few spots deep enough for the adults to go for a dip, but it was mostly the perfect height for little ones. The house is easy to find, but set back enough for peace and quiet. We saw a juvenile black bear (it promptly ran away and had no interest in us or the cabin whatsoever, but it was fun to see) and several deer. There were so many fantastic sitting areas both inside and out for morning coffee and evening wine. The view from the screened in porch was lovely, and the lawn was well laid out for gathering and games. The home itself was sprawling in the best way and very charming, organized, and clean. It was the perfect blend of old world cabin and updated convenience. Thank you so much!
