This charming cottage for four forms part of a barn conversion, enjoying an enviable position in a peaceful village surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The ground-floor accommodation is open plan, providing a spacious living/kitchen/dining area. Up on the first floor are the two bedrooms, both doubles, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with an en-suite shower room. Outside is a shared parking area and a private patio with wooden benches and fantastic views towards Bowscale Fell. Mosedale is ideally located for making the most of the fantastic walking opportunities in this part of the Northern Lakes. Tackle mighty Blencathra, one of the Lake District's most iconic fells. The well prepared can take on Sharp Edge but there are other routes to the top if you'd prefer to avoid the scramble. Whichever way up you choose to go, the views from the summit will be well worth the effort. Explore the fells of the Skiddaw Range or head up local hill Carrock Fell. The neighbouring village of Mungrisdale has a popular pub, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink after a day out on the fells. Spend a day exploring the bustling market town of Keswick. Indulge in some retail therapy, take in a show at the renowned Theatre by the Lake, or sign up for an activity with one of the local adventure companies. Try raft building, canoeing or ghyll scrambling, whilst the brave can take on the Via Ferrata at Honister Slate Mine. Why not head to beautiful Ullswater, less than a 25-minute drive away? It's the perfect location for enjoying a day at, in or on the water! Enjoy a peaceful lakeside stroll, wild swim or take a cruise around the lake on one of the popular steamers. The cottage has a wonderful private patio, accessed through the French doors from the living area.
