Set over two storeys, the cottage offers bright and modern open-plan living areas, a utility room and plenty of outside space for children and dogs to play. The cottage has a welcoming ambience, with contemporary soft furnishings laid out on wooden flooring and everything surrounded by bold and pastel colours. Sunlight floods through large windows and patio doors, enhancing its fresh and spacious feel. The convenience of driveway parking for three cars means guests can unpack and start their holiday straight away. The hallway leads to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the rear of the cottage. It’s a sociable space that will be a hub of noise and activity throughout the day, whether that’s preparing and then enjoying lazy breakfasts, indulgent suppers or kicking back on comfortable sofas with a fortifying morning coffee or coming together for a film night. Patio doors in the lounge lead out into the garden. Clothing battered by the countryside and coastline can be brought back to life in the utility room, just off the hallway, while the downstairs bathroom is perfect for an invigorating soak or shower. The ground floor is also home to two bedrooms: a king-size bedroom with French doors leading into the garden and a king-size bedroom with sea views. Both are served by a shower room nearby.
