Nick's cosy appartment has everything you need for a stay in London. It is close to restaurants, shops, the Portobello road market, supermarkets, public transportation... And when we didn't feel like going out, we could cook in the fully equipped kitchen. For a continental European a very British aparment.

Nick is a friendly and responsive host, however we were disappointed with the property. For the price it is extremely run-down with faulty amenities & cheap finishings. It’s obvious it’s just a business and there is no love involved. Unfortunately the hot water wasn’t working, but also the oven too. The microwave was dirty, cupboard doors were held together with tape, tiles were chipped & more. Location is good - a little noisy but to be expected for the area. We ended up leaving after our first night (was meant to stay 5 nights). For the price, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this stay.

This place was okay. It was a decent size for our family of four, the kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the location was close to a tube station, grocery stores and restaurants, and several useful bus lines. However, the neighborhood was a little seedy - just about a block or two past the nicer part of Notting Hill. In general, the management and maintenance seemed a little sloppy. The oven control labels were all worn off, and though instructions were provided, we couldn’t get it to ignite. The WiFi code was provided through AirBnB but was different than the one in the printed manual in the house, and neither was right - we had to ask to get it, but we did get a prompt response of where it was. The hot water also stopped working the morning we left. We were particularly disappointed that there was a dryer in the listing but none was present. Only a drying rack. He said it was a mistake in the listing. It worked fine but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Nick's place was just as advertised. Had everything I need and in a great location - right next to Portobello road. Nothing fancy but comfortable and had no issues!
